The Old Gem Theater Presents "The Three Little Pigs"

On February 12th, the SCC kindergarten traveled to The Old Gem Theater in New Richmond to see the performance of "The Three Little Pigs."  The show included audience participation; there were five students from our class who made their theatrical debut:)

The kids practiced reading and writing their sight words by challenging other classes to sight word snowball fights!  Game on!

Meet Ms. Berthiaume

                                      

Hi! My name is Ms. Berthiaume and I will be working with your children for the next 9 weeks. I am attending the University of Wisconsin- River Falls and will be graduating this spring. I am originally from North Branch, Minnesota where I grew up with my mom named Jan, my dad named Mark, and my big sister named Briana. Growing up I was very involved in 4-H, where I showed cows at the State Fair! I love animals and have always had many pets, including horses, rabbits, dogs, chickens, cats, etc. Some of the sports I love to play are tennis and softball, and I am a big Vikings fan! For fun I love to go fishing, hiking, and camping! I also love to read books, make crafts, and play games. A little bit more about some of my favorites things are that my favorite animal is a bear, my favorite color is purple and my favorite food is macaroni and cheese! I am very excited to work along side Miss Sirek to learn from her and your kids!
